In the Admirals annual quest to get to States, they will have earned it while playing one of the more challenging schedules in Tennessee.

Coach Buckner’s Ads will be battle-tested by the time the Tennessee Class AAA Districts begin in May. Besides playing all the local talent, they will take on perennial powerhouses from Tennessee in Franklin, Columbia, Riverdale, Ensworth, Pigeon Forge and Dyer Co.

After visiting Panama City during Spring Break to sample Florida Panhandle talent, the Ads will then move on to play some Nationally ranked teams from surrounding states including  Grissom, AL, Danville, IL, Fisher, IN, John’s Creek, GA and you throw in top 10 ranked TC Roberson, NC, you have a pretty impressive schedule.

With the Admirals coming off a 35-9 season last year finishing AAA Runner Up at States, no one is going to feel sorry for the Ads nor will overlook them.  The Ads are ranked themselves somewhere between #23 (Collegiate Baseball) and #44(Perfect Game).  While placing 5 Seniors off the 2013 team in D1 Baseball, Farragut has 4 Seniors and 2 Juniors off the 2014 squad already committed to the next level.

The Ball Park at Farragut will play host to 2 Tournaments (the Invitational and DeMarini) as well as a many critical District Games.   Check the schedules and get out and follow Admiral Baseball!

In memory of Coach Scotty Dean, this team will be entering the “SmashMode” this year and your support is critical to the success in 2014.
