Congratulations to the Junior Class Parents to another great Diamond Dinner. This annual fund raiser included both a silent auction and a spirited live auction to contribute to the success of the evening. Dugout Club President Brian Nussbaum covered Dugout Club Business and turned the mic over to “the” Voice of the Admirals Ralph Skinner. Ralph highlighted this past years events and presented the Admiral Baseball Programs Highlights over the years.
The speaker for the program was Jason Kuhn. Jason is a former Navy Seal and a former pitcher at MTSU. He works with Stonewall Solutions Team that works with athletes and athletic programs of all sports across the county, building them both mentally and physically. Jason has lead the Admirals through this program for the last two seasons and the reviews from players and coaches were fantastic. Jason gave a stirring presentation on how his personal Navy Seal Training skills can translate to success in dealing with everyday life. Besides the obvious Physical component, the Team Building and Goal Setting easily translate into Sports Teams and encouraged the Admiral Baseball Program to adapt those skills into their development.
Coach Matt Buckner closed out the evening with a discussion on the coming 2108 Campaign and then introduced the 2018 Admiral Baseball Team by Class.
