Admirals go to 24-5 after sweep of Lexington Catholic

Saturdays noon start was delayed an hour due to Rain.   The cold didnt help either.

This time the Knights jumped out to a quick lead scoring 3 in the first and eventually going up 4-0.

Serrano who started the game was relieved by Newby in the third inning with Newbs making quick work of the Knights and picking up the W shutting them down for 3 innings .

The admirals get off the deck with some timely hitting by Senzel, Schuettler and a key single by Chambers driving in 2, to tie the game at 4.

In the 6th, the Ads manufacture the winning run with no hits, 2 errors and a HBP to go up 5-4.

Jammer on in relief makes an excellent defensive play from the mound catching a line drive and doubling the runner on first.

In the Seventh inning, with runners and first and second and 1 out, AJ Simcox comes to the mound and strikes out the last two hitters.

Excellent performance in 2 Nationally Broadcast games.

NOW BACK TO THE REAL WORLD!  The Admirals have 4 games next week.   Two District Games, Monday vs. William Blount at Home and Wednesday at Home vs. Catholic.    On Thursday, FHS again hosts the ThrowBack Game with the Admirals taking on Karns.   Friday, the Ads travel to Pigeon Forge!
