Jake Evans drove in four on two hits to lead Farragut JV past Seymour JV 16-2 on Thursday. Evans drove in runs on a single in the fourth and a home run in the fifth.

Farragut JV captured the lead in the first inning. Alec Nussbaum grounded out, scoring one run.

Farragut JV took the lead for good with two runs in the second inning. In the second Cooper Mashburn grounded out, scoring one run and Gabe Hensley doubled off of #5, driving in one run.

Farragut JV scored eight runs in the fourth inning. The big inning was thanks to a walk by Carter Gillette, a single by Jake Evans, a triple , and a walk.

Tyler Petterson earned the win for Farragut JV. He tossed three innings, allowing two runs, one hit, striking out four, and walking one. #5 took the loss for Seymour JV. He threw three and two-thirds innings, giving up 12 runs, six hits, and striking out nine.

Home runs for Farragut JV came when Nussbaum homered in the fifth inning, Evans homered in the fifth inning, and Tanner Corum homered in the third inning.

Farragut JV collected eight hits. Evans, Nussbaum, and Corum each collected multiple hits for Farragut JV. Corum, Nussbaum, and Evans.

Seymour JV didn’t commit a single error in the field. #11 had 13 chances in the field, the most on the team.
