Farragut JV grabbed an early lead on its way to a 15-4 victory over Lenoir City on Tuesday.

Farragut JV took the lead for good with nine runs in the first inning. In the first, Ryan Hagenow drove in a run with a hard ground ball. Cooper Mashburn singled off of Seth Meadows driving in a run, and stole home two batters later.  Alex Au singled off of Ethan Anderson, driving in two runs, and Jake Evans singled off of Anderson, driving in two runs.

Tyler Petterson earned the win for Farragut JV. He threw two innings, allowing one run, two hits, striking out five, and walking zero. Matthew Delph came in relief in the third, striking out one, walking zero. Keito Muto threw one inning, striking out two batters as the two relievers helped Farragut JV finish off the victory.

Muto and Au each drove in three runs to lead Farragut JV. Farragut JV tore up the base paths, as two players stole at least two bases. Myles McFerran led the way with two.
