4/13 vs William Blount W 11-5

William Blount tried but couldn’t ruin a beautiful evening at Farragut Ball Park.

Austin Stapleton got the start but couldn’t find the groove like in his previous starts.

Will Sayers came in as relief in the 3rd and got the W as he quieted the Govs bats for the next 4

innings.  The Govs scraped up a couple of runs in the 7th.

Jake Applegate and Nico Mascia started the bats with a single and double and both scoring in the first and

6th innings.  Carson Strickland cleared the bases with a 3 RBI triple;

the opposition’s 3rd baseman  didn’t like the look of a charging Bull coming right at him.

Brandon Donathan scored 2 runs, Landon Foody and Roy Mutta had 2 hits, Austin Scheidt had 3 and

2 RBIs.  A rare double web gem tonight; the 1st to 3B Foody who reached into the visiting dugout to catch

a foul ball, the 2nd to CF Jake Applegate for laying out to snag a fly ball in the centerfield gap.
