Tuesday 4/24 vs Catholic

L 10-3

The unusually cool weather finally cooled the JV Ads arms.  Eric Lessig had a tough start

lasting 1 inning with 1 strike out.  Ben Rutter got the call in the 2nd and 3rd innings and

shut down the Irish bats with 0 hits and just 1 unearned run.  Bull Strickland took awhile to heat

up, after rocky 4th inning he faced only 7 batters in the 5th and 6th innings combined.

The Ad bats were also affected by a cool spell, Jake Applegate had a double and Connor Boyd

had 2 singles.  On defense the web gem goes to SS Donathan ranging across 2nd for a 6-3 or Tyler

Lugo for 2 great scoops at first or Austin Scheidt’s long run from right field into foul territory on a

fly ball or a beautiful Donathan to Schulze to Lugo double play.
