The top 5 batters in the Admiral lineup continued their torrid hitting in the Admirals’ visit to UT’s Lindsey Nelson Stadium, taking on the Henderson County, KY Colonels. Jammer, AJ, Nick, Chase, and David were a combined 11 for 16 in the late afternoon affair.

Patrick Raby took the hill for the Admirals and pitched the complete game, 5-inning victory. His line on the game: 2 runs, 2 ER, 6 hits, 8K, 2 BB. The 2 walks drove in both Colonel runs in the 4th inning.

Jammer’s single, AJ’s single, Chase’s RBI single, and Brett Hagenow’s RBI groundout plated 2 runs in the first inning. FHS sent 10 men to the plate in the 3rd, scoring 6. Chase led off with his second single, David Logan followed with his RBI triple, Raby plated a run reaching on an error, Jammer drove in 2 with his single, and Chase drove in 2 more with his single. Nick Senzel’s triple highlighted a 4-run 5th.
