Farragut had a 5-run lead on Maryville, and held off the Rebels for a 5-3 victory on Monday.  The Admirals moved their season record to 10-1, 3-1 in D4AAA.

The Admirals took an early lead, scoring a single run in the first inning, on a pair of Rebel errors.  But Farragut took a commanding lead by scoring 3 runs in the fifth inning.  Farragut scored on a double by Justen Freeman and a walk.

Owen Kovacs earned the win for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He threw 5.2 innings, giving up 3 runs, 2 earned, 6 hits, and striking out two.  Brad Day came on in the bottom of the sixth inning, retiring Jones and Broyles with the tying runs on base.  Day retired the side in order in the home half of the seventh.

Farragut had eight hits in the game.  FreemanCade Burkey, and Carson Wright each collected multiple hits.

The Admirals return home Wednesday for another D4AAA game against the Bearden Bulldogs.  Come on out and fill the Ballpark at Farragut!!!!
