Farragut Admirals outlasted JP ll on Friday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 4-3 win at BGA with a sqeeze bunt in the top of the 8th.
Farragut finally managed to grab the lead after a strong eighth inning. A squeeze bunt by Brett Hagenow scored Cameron Strickland and gave Farragut Admirals Varsity the lead for good.
Cameron Strickland had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. He doubled in the fourth and fifth innings and singled in the eighth inning.
Shane Mosiello recorded the win for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He allowed one run over 4 2/3 innings. He struck out four, walked three and surrendered four hits.
