Dylan Pacifico went the distance against Hardin Valley, and HVA was never able to get over the hump and overcome its troubles against Farragut Admirals Varsity on Wednesday.  Pacifico took the win, striking out eight HVA batters. Pacifico allowed two earned runs on three hits and one walk over seven innings.

The top of the third saw HVA take an early lead, 1-0. A double by Harris, plating Hunt started the inning off.

Farragut Admirals Varsity quickly matched HVA’s strong inning with a single run of its own in the third. Farragut Admirals Varsity scored on a walk by Jake Hagenow.

Farragut Admirals Varsity never trailed after scoring one run in the fourth on a fielder’s choice.

Farragut Admirals Varsity tacked on another two runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when Mascia homered. That was followed up by Jake Blevins‘s single, scoring Danny Abel.

The Admirals (36-6), as Region 2 champions, will host Region 1 runner-up Science Hill on Friday at 6:30 at the Ballpark at Farragut, for the right to advance to next week’s State Tournament in Murfreesboro.
