Farragut defeats Centennial after late game triple, 6-3

After three lead changes in Tuesday’s game at Oakland, the Admirals finally pulled out a 6-3 win over Centennial.

Farragut  took the lead in the second inning and held on for the victory. The Admirals went up for good on a two-run triple by Nick737166_t607 Senzel off Christian Brown, bringing home Duncan Pence and Jammer … Strickland

Senzel racked up two RBIs on two hits for Farragut Admirals Varsity.

Patrick Raby put together a nice outing. Centennial managed just one hit off of the  Admirals  pitcher, who allowed one earned run, walked five and struck out nine during his five innings of work.  Jammer Strickland came to the bump and closed out the last 2 innings.

Farragut  jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the first. The Admirals attack began with a single from Senzel. A double by Chase Chambers then moved Senzel from first to third. David Logan singled, scoring Senzel. Farragut  then tacked on more runs when Chambers scored on an error.
