Farragut tops West in back-and-forth affair, 7-6

Farragut Admirals outlasted West on Monday after five lead changes, squeaking out a 7-6 win at West.

Farragut  pulled out the win thanks to a strong seventh inning. The Admirals  scored on an RBI single by Chase Chambers off Jackson Killian, scoring Anthony El Chibani.

Chambers racked up four RBIs on two hits for Admirals.

Jammer Strickland got the win for Farragut. He allowed two runs over three innings. He struck out four, walked none and surrendered four hits.

West jumped out to an early 2-0 lead in the bottom of the second. More runs came home for West when Woodhull scored on an RBI single by Michael Michalik.

Farragut Admirals Varsity got two-run rallies in the fifth inning and the seventh. In the fifth, Farragut scored on a sacrifice fly by Chambers, bringing home Duncan Pence.

West answered Farragut  top inning with four runs of its own in the fifth. West scored on a two-run single by Brett Simpson and a two-run single by Miles Woodhull.

Jammer Strickland relieved Eric Lessig in the 4th and completed the game for the Win!
