Farragut Admirals Varsity shut the door early on Lenoir City, capturing a 15-3 victory on Tuesday at Lenoir City High School, on an unusually warm March night for baseball.
With 12 runs in the first three innings, the Admirals left no doubt about the eventual outcome.
A three-run home run by Chase Chambers, an error, and a fielder’s choice during the first inning and Chase’s RBI double in the second inning, an RBI single by Duncan Pence, and a three-run home run by Nico Mascia in the second inning helped the Admirals put some runs on the board early.
The Ads hit three home runs in the win. Duncan Pence homered in the sixth inning to clinch the run-rule game.
Chase Chambers racked up six RBIs on three hits. Dylan Pacifico pitched 4 innings for the win (4 IP, 1H, 1R, 4K). Carson Strickland pitched the last 2 innings.
The Admirals turn their attention to Hardin Valley Academy Wednesday at 5pm in a key early matchup in District 4AAA.
