- 2009 led Bearden High School to its first State Tournament appearance in school history
- Has prepared over 75 former players for college baseball and has 7 playing in the professional ranks
- Coached current MLB players Nicky Delmonico, Philip Pfeifer and 2016 2nd overall pick Nick Senzel
- Guided the Admirals to 4 State Championships, 2 State Runner-Ups, and 9 State Tourney appearances
- 10 Sectional Coach of the Year awards
- 2010, 2011, 2014 and 2019 Class AAA Tennessee High School Coach of the Year Award
