Maryville didn’t put up much of a fight on Thursday, as Farragut cruised to a blowout 14-4 win in five innings at Farragut.
Farragut Admirals Varsity scored seven runs in the fifth on a two-run single by Jammer Strickland, an RBI single by Nick Senzel, a two-run error, and an RBI single by Duncan Pence.
Jammer Strickland went a perfect 3-3 at the plate for Farragut Admirals Varsity.
Chase Chambers got the win for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He allowed four runs over 2 2/3 innings. He struck out one, walked two and surrendered five hits. Chris Hutson came on in releif to get the Ads out of Jam and Eric Lessig came in the last two innings to close it out.
