Admirals Secure Saturday Doubleheader over Seymour!

The Admirals won the first game with a blowout 8-0 win in seven innings at Farragut.

Farragut Admirals Varsity scored four runs in the fifth on an RBI single by David Logan, a two-run error, and a fielder’s choice.

Nick Senzel racked up two RBIs on two hits for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He tripled in the third inning and singled in the fifth inning.

Patrick Raby looked sharp on the mound. Raby gave up just one hit, allowed no earned runs, walked three and struck out seven during his six innings of work. Austin Stapleton looked sharp as well, pitching the seventh inning, striking out two.

In the second game, the Admirals and Seymour lit up the scoreboard as they combined for 21 runs. In the end, Farragut Admirals Varsity won the offensive battle 12-9 in seven innings.

Hitters on both sides were strong at the plate as the teams combined for 22 hits, including six extra base hits.

Jammer Strickland put himself in scoring position with two extra-base hits for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He doubled twice in the first inning.

Chris Hutson got the win in relief for Farragut Admirals Varsity, Pitching three innings.

Jammer Strickland, David Logan, Anthony El Chibani and Carson Strickland helped lead Farragut Admirals Varsity. They combined for six hits and eight RBIs.
