The Admirals and Mount Juliet traded the lead back-and-forth on Thursday, but eventually the Ads prevailed 10-9. Farragut was down 9-7 in the home half of the 7th when Carson Wright drilled a 2 run HR over the right field wall.

Farragut had built a six-run lead in the third inning and then held off Mount Juliet’s charge.

Farragut scored four runs in the third inning, on a double by Parker Noland, a walk by Ashton King, and a walk by Chandler Chambers.

Mount Juliet scored three runs in the fifth inning. Mount Juliet scored its runs on a double by Raines.

Brad Day earned the win for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He tossed two-thirds of an inning, giving up 1 run, 2 hits, striking out 1 and no walks.

Jake Grooms started the game. He threw three and a third innings, surrendering 3 runs, 4 hits, striking out 2, and no walks.

Farragut Admirals Varsity had 13 hits in the game.  Jake Hagenow, Carson Wright, Zach Yunger, and Justen Freeman each collected multiple hits for Farragut Admirals Varsity. Wright and Hagenow all had three hits to lead Farragut .
