Admirals fourth-inning burst enough to top William Blount , 10-2

Farragut  rolled over William Blount  10-2 on Friday at Farragut after a six-run rally in the fourth inning.

The teams traded runs for most of the contest, leading to five lead changes in the game.

Farragut  pulled out the win thanks to a strong second inning. Scored John Painter and gave Farragut Admirals Varsity the lead for good.

Sam Schulze paced Farragut Admirals Varsity at the plate. Sam went 3-4, drove in one and scored two runs. He doubled in the first inning and singled in the second and fifth innings.   Chase Fullington and Duncan Pence each contributed 2 hits a piece.

Keyes got the win in relief for Farragut Admirals. Keyes pitched five innings and allowed no runs.

Moths ended up on the wrong side of the pitching decision, charged with the loss. He allowed nine runs in 3 2/3 innings, walked one and struck out three.

Farragut jumped out to an early 1-0 lead in the bottom of the first. The Admirals  threat began with a double by Sam. A groundout by Chase Fullington then moved Sam from second to third.

Farragut Admirals Varsity never surrendered the lead after the second inning. The runs piled on thanks to an RBI single by Sam.
