Farragut offense too much for Lenoir City in 16-0 rout.

The Admirals refused to relinquish the lead after grabbing it early against Lenoir City, recording a 16-0 victory on Monday at Lenoir City.

The game was decided quickly as Farragut exerted its will early with 12 runs in the first three innings.

An RBI single by Nick Senzel and a three-run home run by David Logan during the first inning and a fielder’s choice in the second inning helped Farragut Admirals Varsity put some runs on the board early. Duncan Pence racked up four RBIs on three hits for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He doubled in the second inning, homered in the third inning, and singled in the fifth inning. 

Kyle Serrano looked sharp on the mound. Serrano held Lenoir City hitless over two innings, allowed no earned runs, walked none and struck out five.  Shane Mosiello pitched 2 innings of shutout baseball and Austin Stapleton closed out the 5th!

Farragut Admirals Varsity pounded Lenoir City pitching, as seven hitters combined for 10 hits, 15 RBIs and 13 runs scored.

Farragut Admirals Varsity built upon its lead with seven runs in the third. Pence kicked things off with a three-run blast, scoring Alex Schuettler and Sam Schulze.

Farragut Admirals Varsity tacked on another four runs in the fifth. The inning got off to a hot start when Pence singled, plating Sam Savell. That was followed up by Jammer Strickland‘s single, scoring Schuettler.
