Farragut makes the most of 3 hits in 5-1 victory over Soddy Daisy

The Admirals  and Soddy Daisy both threatened with rallies, but it was Farragut that came away that eventually took advantage of them in a 5-1 win.

Soddy Daisy had six hits compared with the Admirals  three, but Soddy Daisy stranded 10 runners on base.

Eric Lessig got the win for Farragut  thanks to six strikeouts. Eric allowed no earned runs on six hits and three walks over six innings.

Rogers took the loss for Soddy Daisy. He lasted just 4 1/3 innings, walked four, struck out none, and allowed five runs.

Farragut  went up for good in the second, scoring one run on an error.

Farragut matched its one-run third inning with one more in the fifth. In the third,  the Admirals Varsity scored on an RBI double by Nico Mascia, scoring Cole Morgan.

Farragut Admirals Varsity survived Soddy Daisy’s surge and put up two runs of its own in the fourth. Farragut Admirals Varsity scored on a groundout by Gabe  Waldrop and an RBI single by Cole.
