Four RBI Day for Hagenow Leads Farragut Admirals Varsity Past William Blount

Jake Hagenow drove in four on three hits to lead Farragut past William Blount 11-1 on Sunday. Hagenow drove in runs on a home run in the third and a double in the fifth.

An early lead helped propel Farragut to victory. Farragut took the lead on a in the first inning.

The Admirals  scored four runs in the fifth inning. Farragut’s big inning was driven by a double by Jake Hagenow.

Owen Kovacs earned the win for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He pitched six innings, surrendering one run, four hits, and striking out four. Norman took the loss for William Blount. He threw two and a third innings, allowing five runs, seven hits, and striking out three.

Home runs for Farragutcame when Hagenow homered in the third inning, Justen Freeman homered in the third inning, and Ashton King homered in the sixth inning.

Farragut Admirals collected 11 hits. Hagenow, Freeman, and Carson Wright each collected multiple hits for the Admirals.

The Admirals go to 30-7 on the season and return to District Tournament  action tomorrow night at 7:30 at the Ball Park of Farragut.  Get out to the park and support your Admiral Baseball Team.
