Admirals suffer 2 nd loss in a row in DeMarini Tournament 6-4 to Soddy Daisy.

Farragut Admirals  jumped out to an early lead, but was unable to hold on and lost 6-4 to Soddy Daisy on Saturday.

While Farragut Admirals Varsity led until the sixth inning, Soddy Daisy worked its way back and took the lead on a two-run single by Caden Ricketts

Anthony El Chibani was hot from the plate for Farragut Admirals Varsity. El Chibani went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the third inning.

Gavin Rogers got the win for Soddy Daisy. He pitched 2 2/3 shutout innings. Rogers struck out one, walked one and gave up two hits.

Soddy Daisy was sparked by Austin Hickey and Ricketts, who teamed up for three hits and four RBIs.

The bottom of the first saw Farragut Admirals Varsity take an early lead, 1-0. Chase Chambers singled to ignite Farragut Admirals Varsity’s offense. A single by David Logan then moved Chambers from first to second.

The lead stayed with Soddy Daisy after the sixth, when it scored four runs on two errors and a two-run single by Ricketts.
