Seven runs in the fourth inning led Farragut  past Hardin Valley Academy 10-3 on Monday. The big inning was thanks to a single by Parker Noland, a single by Cade Burkey, a single by Jake Grooms, a double by Brad Grenkoski, and a single by Carson Wright.

Hardin Valley Academy took an early lead in the first inning. Brock Umberger drove in one when he singled in the first inning.

Farragut took the lead for good with seven runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Parker Noland singled off of Nathan Johnson, driving in one run, Cade Burkey singled off of Johnson, driving in two runs, Jake Grooms singled off of Johnson, driving in one run, Brad Grenkoski doubled off of Johnson, driving in one run, there was an error, scoring one run, and Carson Wright singled off of Johnson, driving in one run.

Collin Grove earned the win for Farragut.  Landon Smiddy came in for the close the last 2 innings.. He went five innings, surrendering three runs, seven hits, striking out five, and walking one. Johnson took the loss for Hardin Valley Academy. He pitched four innings, giving up seven runs, five hits, striking out four, and walking one.

Farragut had nine hits in the game. Noland, Grenkoski, and Wright each collected multiple hits for the Ads.  Hagenow rounded out the hits with a Dinger.
