Farragut jumps out early on Catholic, wins Region 4-AAA baseball title, 10-2 

Farragut offense too much for Catholic in 10-2 rout.

Farragut shut the door early on Catholic, capturing a 10-2 victory on Wednesday at Farragut.

The game was decided quickly as Farragut Admirals Varsity exerted its will early with 10 runs in the first three innings.

A walk by Brett Hagenow and a two-run error during the first inning and an RBI single by Nick Senzel, a two-run single by Hagenow, and a two-run single by Anthony El Chibani in the second inning supplied the early offense for Farragut Admirals Varsity.Chase Chambers got on base four times in the game for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He scored three runs and had one RBI. He doubled in the third inning. 

Shane Mosiello got the win for Farragut Admirals Varsity. He allowed two runs over six innings. Mosiello struck out one, walked five and gave up four hits.  Chris Hutson came in for the close in the 7th inning.

Farragut Admirals Varsity answered Catholic’s top inning with two runs of its own in the third. Farragut Admirals Varsity scored on an RBI double by Chambers and an RBI double by Alex Schuettler.
