Wednesday was a day Kyle Serrano will remember forever as Serrano threw a no-hitter in Farragut Admirals  2-0 victory over Bearden.

No Bearden batter was able to locate Serrano’s pitches during the game. Serrano threw a no-hitter, striking out 13 batters and walking two while recording his momentous feat. He got Tavis Shuler to strike out for the final out of the game.

It was a good day at the plate for Farragut’s David Logan. Logan went 1-3, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the sixth inning.

Farragut went up for good in the first, scoring one run on a Jammer Strickland single, followed by a Nick Senzel single which the Center Fielder misplayed allowing Jammer to score.

Not much else to elaborate on.  NO HITTER, 13 Ks, excellent D, beautiful night and a LARGE Crowd!!

Depending on weather, the DeMarini/Diamond Invitational will start tomorrow evening.  Get out to the Ball Park at Farragut and see yet another strong Tournament with several excellent teams!!

The Admirals are currently 14-4 overall and 7-1 in District Play.
