In a busy weekend of baseball, the JV took two at Seymour on Friday.  In the first game, DeVault hurled 4 innings with 6 K, 4 BB, 3 H, 2R.  T.Pegg closed out the fifth to get the save with a 6-pitch, 3 out effort and the Ads won 6-2.  At the plate, Chambers had two singles, Venero had an RBI single, Grooms had a 2 RBI single and sac fly, and Keyes had a 2 RBI double.

In the second Seymour game, the Ads won, 4-3.  Grooms and Kohlmeyer combined on the mound. Clark had a double,  but the hit of the night belonged to Seymour.  With bases loaded in the top of 5th with  2 outs–Seymour hit a 2 RBI line drive up the middle for the tying and go-ahead run.

At Powell on Saturday, the Ads pulled out the win, 3-2,  in 8 innings of play.  Grove pitched 6 innings with 5 K, 5 H, 1 BB, 2R.  Day finished in relief.  Venero had 3 singles . Chambers had the Sac fly that tied the game and Rinehart had 2 singles, the last one being the game winning hit.
